Join us at Thomaston Place Auction Galleries on August 23, 24 & 25 starting at 11:00 a.m. for our three-day summer auction that will include selections of Maine artwork, folk art and country furniture on Friday; fine art and antiques on Saturday; and 20^th Century decorative arts on Sunday.  Featured items include paintings by John Stobart, Jasper Cropsey, and Andrew Wyeth; a large group of early firefighter items, led by a mid-19^th Century Boston painted leather fireman’s parade helmet; decoys by Elmer Crowell; an outstanding collection of weathervanes; a Tiffany Art Nouveau boudoir desk with inset Favrile glass scarabs; a circa 150 AD Peruvian Nazca ceremonial mantle; a Tiffany glass collection including a bronze and Favrile glass lily desk lamp; and a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
