Ocean Acidification

Nature Center Naturalist Briar Bragdon and Maine Representative and marine scientist Mick Devlin will discuss chemistry and dangers of the increasing acidity of the ocean and how it could affect Maine's economy.  Find out about current legislative initiatives aimed  at preventing ocean acidification, and learn how you can help be part of the solution. The program is for ages 13 and up.

Space is limited. To pre-register, call PWA at 207-563-219 at least 2 days in advance fo the event.   Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the workshop and gather in the community room on the right side of the pavillion.  Programs are free unless otherwise indicated, but donations are gladly accepted.  Nature center visitors and program participants must pay the Town of Bristol admission fee to Pemaquid Beach Park.  Programs are held rain or shine.
