Needle Felting Class with Kelly Corbett of Romney Ridge Farm
On Wednesday, March 23, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm join us for a hands-on class in needle felting lead by Kelly. Each participant will receive their own kit with the materials to make two natural sheep as well as tools to take home and continue with the craft. The class is a perfect introduction for anyone ages 8 and up. Romney Ridge Farm is home to a flock of Romney, Corriedale, and Border Leicester sheep as well as several breeds of goats. Their keeper is Kelly Corbett who is also an expert at making use of their beautiful fleeces for garments and crafts. Each participant in the needle felting class will complete two sheep to take home along with their own set of tools to continue mastering this fun craft. Class will take place inside the historic Boothbay Town Hall at the Boothbay Railway Village. Hot chocolate and homemade cookies will be served. Class fee is $25 for Museum members, $30 for non-members. Class limited to 25 participants. Register online or by calling 207-633-4727.
