Meet our new Tax Manager

Heal Accounting is delighted to announce that Donna Hopkins, CPA has joined the Firm as our new Tax Manager.  She’s here for you!
 
Donna brings over 30 years of Federal, State and Local Tax experience from her time at Marshall & Libby LLC in Portland, Maine.  Over the course of her career, she gained experience as a staff accountant and tax manager, honed her leadership skills, and created many important client relationships. She also discovered her passion for the healthcare industry during this time. Donna has many skills but specializes in working with nursing homes. While Donna enjoys many things about being a CPA her favorite thing to do is to network and meet new people.


Donna earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Southern Maine.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants.
 
The expansion of our tax team allows us to further strengthen our ability to meet the needs of our clients.  As the new Tax Manager, Donna has begun to focus on the day-to-day management of the Tax Department, as well as building and maintaining client relationships.  She has proven to be an incredible asset to our Firm and Tax Department in particular, and we look forward to her continued success and added expertise.
 
When she isn't working, Donna enjoys living a peaceful life at her lake house with her husband, cats, and two daughters (who are usually away at college). She likes to go for long walks & boat rides, explore the midcoast area, spend time with her family, and play and watch sports.

We invite our clients, colleagues and friends to join us on Wednesday, October 18^th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm to meet Donna and welcome her to the team.  We will have light refreshments and beverages for all to enjoy.  We look forward to celebrating the growth of our firm.
