"Help Us Grow" Volunteer Event at Owls Head Transportation Museum
Help Us Grow!
Volunteer Appreciation + New Volunteer Cultivation Event
Owls Head Transportation Museum, Sunday, May 15 (12:30-2:30pm)
Join us at the museum as we show our gratitude to the incredible group of volunteers who graciously give their time and energy to the museum. Our doors will be open to new friends and those who are interested in learning more about the many volunteer opportunities at OHTM.
For nearly five decades, volunteers from near and far have made remarkable contributions to the success of OHTM, and have created a sense of community and camaraderie which brings this museum to life. OHTM salutes these volunteers and will be on hand to provide information about the volunteer program to empower the next generation of participants.
The afternoon will commence with light refreshments and a few words from our executive director, staff members and fellow volunteers. Attendees will be encouraged to explore the museum, plus the automotive and aircraft workshops. Meet our Ground and Aircraft Conservators, as well as our Archivist and other staff members.
