Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser at Wawenock Golf Club

The golf ball drop and family fun day will include dropping hundreds of pre-purchased golf balls from a fire truck’s extended ladder onto the putting green for a chance to win one of two prizes – closest to the hole is a $500 cash prize and second place is $250.  In addition to the golf ball drop, there will be a putting competition for both adults and children, games and music in the yard, and an outdoor barbecue served up by the club’s new restaurant, The Tenth Hole.  Outdoor barbecue lunch is $12 for adults and $8 for children. 
To purchase golf balls, reach out to the Chamber at 207-563-8340 or via chamber board members.  The cost is 5 balls for $20.  The premiere sponsor of the golf ball drop is Coastal Car Wash & Detail Center.  Additional sponsorships are available at $100 for the putting contest and $50 for yard games.
