Gathering Place for Community, Warmth and Food

Did you know that the Second Congregational Church in Newcastle is offering a winter Gathering Place for community, warmth and food. The warming center will be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8 AM to 2 PM Feb. 3 through April 30th. The purpose of this day center is to simply share community, warmth and food with all neighbors wanting a warm, safe place to gather and be in community with others. Coffee, baked goods and a simple lunch will be offered each day. There are volunteer opportunities available. If interested, reach out to shirltawney@gmail.com.
