DESCRIPTION:Rising Tide Co-op\, located at 323 Main Street in Damariscotta is pleased to announce they will be hosting an art exhibition of work by local artist\, Heidi Geist. The collection\, which will be featured in the Rising Tide Caf  offers mixed media painting and detailed pen and ink drawings. Recently\, Geist finished her "48 Beer Project" which included hand-painted or drawn beer labels and have been exhibited or commissioned by many local restaurants and bars. \n\n \n\nOriginally from Idaho\, Geist now lives in Newcastle and has been evolving her work over the past 12 years. That evolution included set designs and backdrops to blacklight responsive art and custom painted instruments. Geist's work will be on display in the Caf  throughout the month of February. \n\n \n\nPlease join Rising Tide for the "First Friday" Wine Tasting and Artist Reception on February 7 from 4-6 pm.
