LincolnHealth Diabetes Support Group
Pastor Tom Wagers will speak on the spiritual side of chronic diseases such as diabetes at the Diabetes Support Group meeting on Thursday, March 23 at 1:15. The group will meet in the Diabetes Education Room on the third floor of the LincolnHealth - Miles campus.
Participants will examine the "faith factor" in living with diabetes. Wagers will address the common questions “Why me? Why now? What now?” during the support group meeting.
Wagers serves as a Hospital Chaplain at LincolnHealth, a Chaplain for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department and is the Pastor of the Lincoln County Assembly of God. Wagers studied at University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
The LincolnHealth Diabetes Support Group meets every other month on the fourth Thursday to allow participants to share experiences and to know that they do not have to deal with diabetes alone.
The LincolnHealth Diabetes and Nutrition Program provides a range of services to diabetes patients and their families. The program has been accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators for the provision of quality services.
